Burglary: Abingdon

 

The Abingdon Police Department is investigating multiple burglaries that occurred in the 100 blocks of North Carlysle, Ohio and Swarts Streets.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 16th, 2010, a resident of the 100 block of N. Carlysle Avenue observed an unknown suspect leave the garage at the after entering several vehicles parked inside.  The suspect was described as a white male, thin build, approximately 5' 7" tall.  The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants and departed on foot northbound from the residence.

Around the same time, an unknown suspect(s) entered several automobiles parked in the 100 blocks of N. Ohio and N. Swarts Streets.  A GPS unit was taken from one of the vehicles.

All three of these incidents are beleived to have been committed by the same suspect(s).
